The Colosseum
How can you not be absolutely dumbfounded by the Colosseum? It is undoubtedly one of the most iconic buildings in Italy as well as in the rest of world and one of those things you have to experience when you visit Rome. Let's just say there is a very good reason for it being one of the 7 wonders of the world.

Victoria’s dad who is born and raised in Rome always says, “First you see Rome, then you die." And who could disagree with a view like this?
Vegan Croissants
There are of course more things to do in Rome than visiting attractions. The city also has one of the best vegan food scenes we’ve come across which is no surprise since the Italian cuisine offers some of the most vegan friendly food in the world. There was at least 5 cafes serving vegan cappuccinos and croissants within two blocks from where we lived, and we never had an issue ordering vegan food at any of the restaurants we visited.
The Roman Forum
There are few things in this world that can make you feel as small as being surrounded by architecture that is close to 3,000 years old! This view over the Roman Forum is really all the reason we need to travel to Rome.
The Roman Ruins
Spending a day walking around the Roman Ruins is one of our favorite things to do in Rome and something everyone that visits Italy should do. Just imagine all the millions of people that have walked these streets over the last thousands of years!
Il Vittoriano
Altare della Paria, or Il Vittoriano, is a monument that celebrates everything that's Italian. It was built in honor of Victor Emmanuel - the first king to unify Italy as a country - and it's one of the most majestic buildings we have ever seen.
